Interior design for apartments and houses in Vienna
DUMSKAYA DESIGN is an interior design studio with an office and its own furniture production facility in Bratislava, 60 km from Vienna. We design and deliver turnkey interiors for apartments and houses in Vienna: from the layout and 3D visualization to furniture manufacturing and renovation. Two Vienna projects — apartments of 58 m² and 115 m² — were completed in full: design, technical documentation, furniture, and renovation.
For a client in Vienna, this means one team and one price for the entire property. We develop the design project, make the furniture at our own facility, and our crews, who travel from Bratislava, handle the renovation and installation. The distance has no effect on lead times: the trip takes about an hour.

What we do for properties in Vienna
- Interior design project for an apartment or house — layout, concept, and the selection of materials, furniture, and lighting.
- 3D visualization — photorealistic images of every room before the renovation begins.
- Technical documentation — working drawings, electrical and plumbing plans, and specifications for the builders.
- Custom furniture — kitchens, wardrobes, walk-in closets, entrance hall furniture, and TV walls made at our own facility.
- Turnkey renovation — from demolition to the final cleaning, by our own crews.
- Design supervision and procurement — checking that the work matches the project, and ordering materials, plumbing fixtures, and lighting.
We work with new builds, resale properties, and private houses in Vienna and its suburbs. The design project can be ordered on its own or together with the implementation.

How we work on an interior in Vienna
- Consultation. We discuss your project by phone, by messenger, or on site in Vienna. The consultation is free.
- Site measurement. We visit the property and record the dimensions, utilities, and features of the rooms.
- Concept and 3D. Layout options, style, materials, and photorealistic visualizations. We agree on revisions with you.
- Documentation. Drawings for the builders and for furniture production, specifications, and a renovation cost estimate.
- Implementation. The furniture is made in Bratislava; the renovation and installation are carried out by our crew in Vienna. Delivery is included in the price.
- Handover. Final assembly, installation of lighting and plumbing fixtures, cleaning, and handing over the keys.
Interior design project prices in Vienna
Design project prices are the same in every city where we work: the “Express” package — €20/m², “Basic” and “Furniture” — €35–45/m², “Premium” — €50/m², “Premium+” — €70/m². The first consultation is free.
Furniture and renovation costs are calculated based on the project and the cost estimate. The client receives one all-in price — with no extra charges for site visits or delivery to Vienna.
Questions about working in Vienna
Do you visit properties in Vienna?
Yes. Measurements, design supervision, and the final inspection all take place on site. Bratislava is about an hour from Vienna, so site visits are part of our normal workflow and are not charged separately.
Who does the renovation and installation in Vienna?
Our own crews from Bratislava — the same ones that work on properties in Slovakia. We do not hand the project over to subcontractors, so we take full responsibility for the result.
Are prices in Vienna different from prices in Bratislava?
No. The design packages cost the same, and furniture delivery and site visits are included in the price. The cost of the renovation depends on the scope of work and is calculated in the cost estimate.
Where is the furniture made?
At DUMSKAYA DESIGN’s own production facility in Bratislava. We deliver and install the finished pieces in Vienna ourselves.
Can I order just the design project without the renovation?
Yes. You will receive a complete set of drawings and visualizations that any contractor can work from. If you need furniture or a renovation later, we will continue with the same project.
Do you work in other cities in Austria?
Yes, in Lower Austria and Burgenland — within a comfortable travel radius of Bratislava. For properties further away, we work remotely on the design and manufacture and deliver the furniture.
